This programme aims at developing analytical and practical skills and imparting knowledge with due regard to fundamental accounting principles that have led to the establishment of current accounting theory. It also encourages an ethical approach to problem solving and to the work of an accountant in general. The development of the programme involved serious consultation with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA), the industry and with other institutions of higher learning within and outside Zambia.
