Bachelor of Arts in Education
The Zambia Catholic University opened its doors in 2008. At the beginning the Faculty of Education was a department under the Faculty of Social Sciences. In January 2015 a decision was made to turn the Department of Education into a fully-fledged Faculty of Education offering a variety of programs in Education.
EDUCATION PROGRAMS AVAILABLE AT THIS UNIVERSITY
The Faculty of Education offers the following programs;
Bachelor of Education (Secondary)
ii. Bachelor of Education (Primary)
iii. Bachelor of Commerce with Education
iv. Diploma in Teaching Methodology
AIM OF THE EDUCATION PROGRAMS
The programs aim at providing a strong professional and academic training to teachers of various levels, i.e Primary, Secondary Schools and Tertiary institutions, so that upon successful completion of these programs, they would be in a position to contribute positively towards the development of the nation
