The Bachelor of Information Technology Degree is a four year programme designed to equip students with Information Technology skills that are in demand in industry. Students are not only given technology skills but will also learn how to morally and ethically apply their knowledge in the workplace. PROGRAMME AIM The programme aims to give students industry skills that are required in the rapidly changing world of computing technology. Students can take on various IT roles such as positions in web development, database administration and network administration. PROGRAMME DURATION AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS The Bachelor of Information Technology Degree requires a prospective candidate to have credit passes in at least five subjects in the Zambian School Certificate or General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level Examinations including Mathematics and English. Exemptions can be awarded depending on qualifications obtained and are approved as equivalents by the University Senate.
